my data is there, if i switch to budget i can see it and numbers, but for cost source as the metric i get o's
I took a look at your project. Let's see if I can get you pointed in the right direction.
Notice the the formulas for the OpEx Fixed and OpEx Variable in your cost model. They are referencing the CS Master Data.Expense Type column and Fixed Variable column.
So if we go into your Cost Source Master data and check the values in Expense Type and Fixed Variable... we can see that Fixed variable has a bunch of blanks in it.
This makes sense, the formulas are looking for values in the fixed variable column where none exist. So what you need to do is work back through the data sets to see why those values aren't there, and see if you can get them there.
Hopefully that gives you the bump you're looking for. If you need a little more, let us know.

I figured it out. Your Documentation on page 28 doesnt indicate that you need to scroll down to see the other fields and insure they are mapped correctly. After i deleted the tables and redid the steps (with correct mapping) it fixed the problem.
Glad you were able to figure it out. Sorry for the confusion. You didn't actually need to delete the data sets, you could have just redone the mapping but I'm happy it worked out.
ok, now i'm onto page 39, and my labor numbers only show up under budget and not cost. this is terribly frustrating.

Scott, your cost sub pool field in the Acme Staff Allocations table is =Expense.this is creating unequal values in your allocation relationship. I'm looking for the page in the book to go back to for guidance, I believe we actually are asked to change the allocation relationship.
Thanks that would make sense. I don’t know that happened unless I mapped a field wrong? The sample data came as is so is the designation in the data?

Scott, I see the issue, the guide is mistaken in it's statement that you should have dollars "as in the screen shot" you shouldn't actually have dollars yet but you will as soon as you establish the relationship on the next few pages. So keep moving past page 39 and you should be ok with dollars in labor.

I will do a bit more research and will request an update from the Instructional Designer of the course. What I don't understand is why you are the first person to have this issue since this course was launch on April 23rd.
