Just writing a report and need the answer
I suspect you posted this question just to help me test this process, so thank you. But I'll go ahead and try to answer it here anyway.
Typically when you create a slicer, whatever fields you put in the slicer are displayed alphanumerically A-Z. So if you bring in Tiers, they all start with T so they go first in alpha then numeric.
but if you put in something else like location, it puts them in alpha order A-Z
There isn't an option to reverse sort the slicer values. However if you are asking whether something sorted remains sorted in that manner when I filter it using a slicer, the answer is yes. In this example... I sorted the Cost Column Z-A so the biggest numbers were on top. Then I filtered using the slicer, and chose my options in no particular order. As you can see when they are displayed, they are still in Sort order by cost.
