Two paths are available:

 

R11 to R11

In this path you will update your current Elite '17 TBMA R11 status to Elite '18 TBMA R11 status by:

  • Successfully completing the R11 Advanced Scenario Hands-on Exam
  • Creating an ETBMA Case Study

 

R11 to R12

In this path you will update your current Elite '17 TBMA in R11 status to Elite '18 TBMA in R12 status by:

  • Taking the R12 for R11 Experts Program
  • Gaining Community Points
  • Successfully completing the Recognized '18 TBMA for R12 program
  • Taking all ETBMA R12 2018 Courses
  • Successfully completing the R11 Advanced Scenario Hands-on Exam
  • Creating an ETBMA Case Study

 

Important!

As an ETBMA, you stand for something important, and your activity is most valuable when shared with the most people. To this point, you may have noticed there is no longer an ETBMA user group. This is because everyone should have the opportunity to benefit from your greatness! Keep sharing your knowledge with the entire Apptio Community.

Are you just getting started with Cost Transparency and are responsible for the day-to-day administration?  The CT Administration course introduces TBMAs to the administrative functions necessary to sustain Apptio environments.

 

Modules in this course include:

  • Intro to Apptio Studio
  • Intro to Time

 

You will also view tutorials on how to:

  • Lock and promote projects
  • Check in and check out documents
  • Create branches
  • Enable time

 

Length: 1.5 hours

 

Format: Self-Paced

 

Audience: TBMAs

Visual Communication Skills Webinar (80 min)

Apptio University is excited announce the release of the Bill of IT – Showback and Chargeback series of courses. These courses teach TBMAs, and other roles who touch the Bill of IT process, the basics and benefits of Bill of IT, the differences between a showback and chargeback process, the Bill of IT types, and the roles involved in the Bill of IT process. Through graphic, interactive slides, participants are guided through these self-paced courses, where they determine which roles and parts of the road to Bill of IT they want to explore.

I’m Alison Pumma, Apptio Education Services Sr. Instructional Designer, and I had the pleasure of working with our Sr Director, Product Marketing, Patchen Noelke, Director, Product Management, Robert Booher, and Application Engineer, Jared Howell during the development of these courses. Together, we have created a series of interactive and engaging courses that are designed to improve your Bill of IT knowledge, build awareness of how roles in your organization interact, and familiarize you with Bill of IT reports and functionality.

Apptio University is pleased to announce the release of the Effective Presentations course. The Effective Presentations course teaches TBMAs and other presenters how to prepare for, develop, and deliver effective presentations. Through this instructor presentation, participants will learn how to use nerves to improve presentations, choose appropriate media and delivery methods, exhibit excellent physical presentations skills, present to adults, and manage participants.

 

 

I’m Alison Pumma, Apptio Education Services Instructional Designer, and I had the pleasure of working with our Senior Instructor, Paolo Coppa, during the development of this course. Together, we have created a recorded course that is designed to help you improve your development and delivery of group presentations. Are you a TBMA with a fully configured Cost Transparency Foundation project, working knowledge of Apptio basic navigation and terminology, and hands-on experience loading data sets, creating allocations in the model, and working with reports? If so, the new Cost Transparency Foundation: Part 2 instructor-led course is a great place for you to learn the processes and best practices needed to sustain your project from month to month.

I’m pleased to announce that the self-paced Introduction to IT Operations course is now available. This course is a great starting place for those individuals who are new to IT and IT Operations and will help you gain a better understanding of Operations technology.  After taking this course, you’ll better understand how all the pieces fit together to provide services, such as email, to the business.  You’ll also have a general command of typical IT Operations terminology and towers, which will help you feel more confident when sitting in Technology Business Management meetings with your IT counterparts.

 

I’m Alison Pumma, Alison Pumma, Apptio Education Service Instructional Designer, and I was lucky to work with Debbie Hagen, Debbie Hagen, Senior Instructor, on converting our instructor led course to this easy to understand self-paced version.  Offering this as a self-paced course makes it so much easier for folks who are new to Apptio, TBM, and IT Operations, to get a running start as you can take this class at any time!
