New SPARK - Undo Multiple Audit Log Entries

Blog Post created by JSharp@apptio.com Employee on Feb 4, 2016

The first time I made a wrong edit or calculation in Apptio, my first reaction was to press Ctrl + Z on my keyboard to undo my mistake. This was when I realized that we cannot undo any action the way we revoke our actions in most desktop applications.

So, how do we Undo actions in Apptio? Well, you can revoke your actions in the Audit tab, which not only allows you to Undo your last action, but it gives you a history of all the actions you performed in the application and allows you to select all the actions you want to undo. You can even filter the log to find entries made to a specific data set, on a specific date, by a specific user

The long list of entries under the Audit tab looks overwhelming, and it sure is if you want to find some older entries or undo many entries. However, the good news is that you can undo multiple entries at one go.

In the Undo Multiple Audit Log Entries course, you will learn how to undo multiple audit log entries together. You will also learn how to filter through the audit log to find the relevant entries easily.
